About TraceWorksheets, Pedagogical Standards & Privacy
100% Free handwriting worksheet generator for schools, teachers, and homeschool families.
TraceWorksheets.com was created to solve everyday frustrations experienced by early childhood teachers, occupational therapists, and homeschool parents. Commercial worksheet websites frequently lock basic custom names behind expensive recurring subscriptions, clutter pages with pop-up paywalls, or produce sheets with improper line ratios and incorrect starting strokes.
We built a 100% client-side vector generator that respects user privacy, eliminates login barriers, and provides pedagogical features like:
- Starting Dots: Green guide circles at letter origins to prevent b/d reversals.
- Left-Handed Mode: Exemplar repositioning so left-handed children's wrists do not obstruct the model word.
- Scaffolding Mode: Step-by-step release of guidance from solid model to independent recall.
- Dry-Erase Mode: Enlarged 1.25" line spacing designed for chunky whiteboard markers.
- Eco-Black Mode: High-contrast black and gray lines calibrated for school laser photocopiers.
